Sunni Academy

Sunni Academy aims to teach traditional Islamic sciences to children aged 5 - 16 through a tailor designed syllabus in a safe and stimulating learning environment.

With a professional team of English-speaking scholars and teachers, Sunni Academy aims to adopt traditional teaching techniques as well as contemporary methods whilst recognising that the learning abilities and needs differ from child to child. Sunni Academy is dedicated in bringing out the best in your child.

We have a team of highly qualified and enthusiastic teachers with expertise and specialist subject knowledge.

We will offer an extensive enrichment programme; including the religious, mental and spiritual development of students.

We are committed to supporting your learning, even outside of teaching hours.

We have a special team of scholars who will provide friendly and professional guidance in areas relating to your development.

We will utilise performance monitoring systems to ensure that you are achieving set goals.

We will offer a wide range of courses, catering to our students' needs; from basic foundation courses through to the advanced sciences.

The Sunni Academy is a project of Sunni Foundation, which has been serving the greater community of Bradford and surrounding areas for over twenty years. We are easily accessible as we are conveniently located on 1 Carlisle Road, right in the heart of the city.

We endeavour to provide Islamic counselling and guidance to the greater community.

The Sunni Academy is established on the principles of the Ahlus Sunnah wa-l Jama'ah and the teachings of Imam Ahmad Ridaa Khan (RA).

Building future leaders

This form is to be completed for all participants by the parent or guardian of the young student(s)' themselves. I understand that whilst the staff will take every care, they cannot be held responsible or liable for any incident or accidents that arise out of unforeseen circumstances or the unreasonable behaviour of any student or others in the party. I understand that if any student's behaviour is unreasonable then he/she may be withdrawn from the Academy and the staff in charge will not have any responsibility thereafter for the student. Please note the students are not supervised outside the Academy premises or lessons.
